Mwebaza Annex!

Today we visited the Eagle Crest sister school, Mwebaza Annex! Kids loved our identity projects, they are enjoying the eggs from the chicken program, the computer lab is up and running with the children learning to create folders for their work. During break, we were able to play some games together! Check them out below! What do you notice in some of these pictures and videos?

    Hi Everyone!
We love seeing the pictures and videos that you are posting! We love seeing the kids so happy, singing and dancing, even during Covid times. We have a couple of questions for you. Do kids at Mwebaza Annex school learn in English? Will they be writing their Identity Portraits in English? What places did you go to before making it to Uganda? What was your favorite animal that you saw in the wild? Please say “hi” to our friends for us!

Hi Mrs. Dumler’s class! We are having a great trip. All the kids are happy to be back in school and with their friends. I think that’s the best part for them. Friends! They all learn English in school and they are writing their identity portraits in English. Some of the younger kids don’t write very well yet, but they are in “baby class and middle class” – preschool. But the older kids are all writing in English and they talk to us in English. Have a great day.
